Design & Client work
Design for e-zinePreviously I was a reviewer for the alternative music e-zine, Brutal Resonance.
My passion for the music and expertise for design allowed me to create things such as: monthly charity album covers, logo design, and artist physical release mastery, e.g. cassette tape cover artwork. |
Album artwork, HORSKHThe French electronic group, HORSKH, approached me to design artwork for an upcoming release. This included 3D models, image renders, and videos for album artwork and promotional material.
The 3D Models were created in Blender, and depict the logo, album and band name as text, with a melted liquid animation effect in glowing blue light. This animation loops seamlessly. |
Album coversI have been privileged to work with musicians to create their album covers for physical and digital releases. We worked closely, providing ideas and vision then my refinement, creative input, and design limitations considered.
This was an iterative process, and I find satisfaction in knowing that the clients were pleased with their designs. Pictured: Kevorkian Death Cycle concept cover for 'I Am God', and Ari Mason's final art for 'Dressed For Space'. |
Book CoversI was fortunate to work with the Sheffield author, Kevin Paterson on 2 book cover designs. I kept a close and iterative dialogue between myself and the client to ensure a final result was fully realised.
I ideated the cover image from a synopsis brief provided by the author, I later followed with pages of sketches, and this was refined later into a series of iterations on the final design shown here. Pictured: 'Touretti Spaghetti' and 'Hell on Earth', by Kevin Paterson.

Illustration & Photo RestorationIllustration commissions of people's homes.
Old photo restoration and recolour of Irish poet and playwright, Oscar Wilde. He famously introduced wearing a green carnation as a secret symbol of his sexuality and this caught on as a trend still today, being worn by celebrities such as Elliot Page. |
